"Fontana" is not the name of a publishing house, but rather a *publishing imprint* -- a brand name used by various larger publishers over the years. Alistair MacLean's books were published under the Fontana imprint by various companies, most notably HarperCollins (or its predecessors). Therefore, specifying "Bücher Floodgate Verlag heisst Fontana Autor heisst Alistair MacLean" is inaccurate. There's no publisher called "Floodgate" associated with Alistair MacLean's works. To correctly describe Alistair MacLean's books published under the Fontana imprint, you would say something like: "Many of Alistair MacLean's books were published under the Fontana imprint by [Name of Publisher, e.g., HarperCollins]." |
